The silky-skilled speedster was one of Port Adelaide's standouts in 2006. After being promoted from the rookie list last season - he played the final seven matches of 2005 - Pearce played every match in 2006. He was one of only three nominees to achieve this feat along with Clint Bartram and Andrew Raines. He has accumulated double-figure disposals every round this season with a 31-possession performance - his best effort against West Coast in round 12. He has an enormous future at Alberton and will be one of the hot favourites for this award.
