onto the scene with a stunning performance in round six - regarded as
one of the best debuts in recent years - winning 28 disposals, six
marks and booting three goals. It was a super display against Essendon,
which earned him best-on-ground honours - the Yiooken Award - in the
'Dreamtime at the 'G' clash. After that match, Polo remained in the
side for the rest of the season and was given several run-with roles,
which he handled with aplomb. Like Richmond teammate Andrew Raines,
Polo recently penned a new deal until at least the end of 2008.
