defender took his game to another level in 2006. His form was that
strong that he was regarded as one of the most improved players in the
competition. Raines was also recently rewarded with a three-year
contract that will see him remain at Tigerland until the end of 2009.
His coach Terry Wallace has even suggested that the son of 1980
Richmond premiership hero Geoff could press for this year's Jack Dyer
Medal. Yet he will be a leading contender for this year's award.
