Moody entered his third AFL-listed season with six matches to his name - he made his AFL debut in round six last year - yet he made significant progress in 2006, playing every match from round four. He received his nomination after a terrific performance against the Kangaroos - he produced a match-winning final term, along with then teammate Jason Akermanis. Moody won 22 disposals for the match - but claimed nine touches in the last quarter - helping the Lions produce a come-from-behind victory. The talented forward/midfielder is an important part of the club's new breed.
