Congratulations to Danyle Pearce, the 2006 NAB AFL Rising Star Medallist.

As a talented youngster, Danyle Pearce pulled on the boots for Sturt, then played impressively for South Australia in the 2004 NAB AFL Under 18 Championships. Although he missed out on selection at the NAB AFL Draft, Danyle powered on, and was rewarded with a place on Port Adelaide’s rookie list for 2005. But, while he has the skill and tenacity, it’s his commitment to the game that we’re proud of. And like his fans, we’re backing him all the way.
