Hadley became the first premiership player to receive a nomination, after he played in last year's grand final victory - just his fourth match. His 26 disposals and 11 marks against Adelaide was statistically his best performance in 2004, as he stepped up to be a regular in the Lions' best 22. He is likely to challenge Rivers for the award.
