Round 5 - Adam Schneider
The native New South Welshman has been a real livewire addition to the Sydney forward line. After making his AFL debut in round one against Carlton, the speedy little man with the penetrating left foot hasn’t looked back, playing in every game this season. Schneider made a name for himself booting three goals from 13 possessions against Melbourne on Anzac Day in round five. He was one of the keys behind the Swans 10-goal last quarter that shaped their season and was rewarded with the nomination for that round. Schneider finished fifth in the 2003 Rising Star count on eight votes.
