Round 22 – Matthew Lokan
After being overlooked in the 2000-01 National AFL Drafts, Lokan was finally given an opportunity by Collingwood last year when he was the Magpies’ final selection and the fourth-last player to be taken in the draft at No.70. Lokan made the most of his opportunities in 2003, playing every game this season for the Magpies. The 20-year-old has been a solid performer as a versatile running type this year and he received his nomination in round 22 for his consistent season.
